The HOKA SPEEDGOAT 5
A workhorse designed for technical trails, the Hoka Speedgoat 5 WIDE returns as a new shoe from outsole to laces. This trail beast is updated with Vibram® Megagrip with Traction Lug for upgraded grip and braking power on loose soil. A whole 15 grams lighter, the much grippier fifth Speedgoat edition features many enhancements to improve performance. Weight reduction also comes from fewer overlays – helping us work towards a more sustainable construction.
Enveloping the toe and forefoot, a dynamic textile component lends exceptional flexibility and comfort during toe-off, as well as accommodating for potential footswell, a feature seen in Mafate Speed 3, Evo Mafate 2 and Evo Speedgoat. Refinements to the tongue further add to the feeling of enhanced comfort to the top of the foot, adjacent to the ankle where friction can occur. Its midsole compound is even lighter than before, delivering HOKA’s signature smooth ride without reducing the stack height. This, combined with a double layered-jacquard mesh ensures our latest trail superstar inspires confidence on any terrain.

SPEEDGOAT 4
The new Speedgoat 5 comes half an ounce lighter (15g lighter for men’s & 21g lighter for the women’s version) and has more traction than the Speedgoat 4. Speedgoat 5 comes
with an updated lighter midsole compound designed to provide that familiar confidence-inspiring ride.
Both the Speedgoat 4 and Speedgoat 5 feature Vibram® Megagrip. To provide maximum traction, Speedgoat 5 is equipped with the updated Vibram® Megagrip with Traction Lug.
Speedgoat 5 also features a reworked upper, designed to provide additional flexibility and more room for your feet to move on the trails.

Both the Speedgoat 5 and Torrent 2 are designed to provide a relatively high amount of cushion and confidence at a relatively low weight on challenging trails;
While the Speedgoat is designed with an emphasis on support, cushion, and ultimate traction, the Torrent 2 is designed with a focus on providing a sufficiently grippy and protected ride in a package that is lightweight and nimble enough for shorter, faster races.

how to measure
If you are unsure which shoe size to purchase, please follow the below steps:
- Draw a straight line longer than your foot on a piece of paper.
- Place the paper on a flat surface. Stand on the line with your heel and longest toe centered. If measuring a child’s foot, it may be easier to hold the paper up to their foot.
- Place a mark on the line at the tip of the longest toe and at the back of the heel.
- Repeat steps above for the other foot.
- Measure the distance between the marks. Taking the larger of the two measurements, use the conversion chart to find your correct shoe size.

Run the tape measure around the fullest part of your chest and then relax your arms.
2 Waist
To find your natural waist, bend to the side and find the crease that forms, this is your waistline. Run the tape measure around your body at this point.
3 Hip
With your legs together, run the tape measure around the fullest part of your hip.

This product is fitted and has less than 1:1 ease over body, meaning that it is form fitting. While not technically compressive, this fit is the closest thing to the feeling of a hug!
Slim
This product fits close to body and is intended to comfortably fit over body without much excess. Its slim fit for a tailored feeling and gives you good range of movement for activities.
